Global Partnership
The Forum reiterates that sustainable development can only be achieved with the collaboration of all parties like government, business, and civil society. As stated in the United Nations SDG Partnership Guidebook, all actors must play their unique roles and utilize their unique resources, with partnerships an essential means to maximize the collective impact of available resources. Preventing substance use and empowering women requires acknowledgment of the interconnections between the SDGs and the need for holistic approaches. In this context, the forum also focuses on the impact of the socio-economic and cultural structure on women's addiction and recovery processes, discussing concepts such as family-environment-work life and presenting the current situation with example studies and data.
